Tiny Grotto (TG) was recognized as the first dungeon of the game before its revamp and the introduction of Pebble Cave. Nonetheless, it is one of the easiest dungeons for new players to get experienced with how the game functions. It's also the easiest dungeon with a boss, aside from the tutorial dungeon.

Boss
Upon reaching Tiny Grotto Depths, the player is greeted by a lone Ivysaur excited to see them as a visitor because it has been lonesome. It pleads the player for a battle. From here the player can choose "Yes" or "No". Choosing "No" will make them leave and "Yes" will lead to the battle. It knows the moves Magical Leaf, Razor Leaf, Tackle, and Vine Whip.

- Ivysaur: Ahh finally! Someone came to see little ol' me!
- Ivysaur: I've been so lonely down here... No one has visited me in such a long time, so much so, the roots here have overgrown!

- Ivysaur: Do you wish to challenge me to a battle? You will leave the dungeon if you say no, but that's no fun!

Dungeon Objective
The goal of this Tiny Grotto is to get higher in the floors and beat the dungeon boss. This dungeon is the first dungeon accessible for players to recruit Sunkern, Hoppip, and Ledyba, and the easiest where a Mushroom can be obtained.
Trivia
- The entrance for Halloween HC originally led to Tiny Grotto, as a joke by staff.
- Tiny Grotto was the one of the four original dungeons in PMU 7.
- Tiny Grotto had 10 Floors, two sections, and a different boss. The second section and original boss was split into Fruity Grotto, a separate dungeon, and Tiny Grotto was given a new boss.
- Tiny Grotto had 3 Floors before its first revamp, which had 15 Floors, then it was changed to 10 Floors, and in 2020 Tiny Grotto now has 5 Floors after being split into Fruity Grotto.
