Sunny Hillside (SH) is a beginner dungeon found northwest of Grassroot Town in Exbel. This dungeon, alongside Tiny Grotto, Seafoam Cove, Sour Root Cave, and Island Garden, introduces status conditions onto the players. It's also the earliest to introduce hidden items.

Sunny Hillside has pinkish-orange wood walls with bright, green grass tiles with small orange flower blooms. Rooms are small with pathways often leading players to adjacent rooms. Water tiles appear in small amounts throughout the dungeon.

At the end of the dungeon, the center of the room contains two boxes and 20 
Poké collectively, hidden in the top left and top right corner of the room. There's a Fletchling named Fletchy who talks about hidden items.

Dungeon Objective
The goal of this dungeon is to ascend the floors and beat the dungeon for completion. This dungeon is also the first dungeon accessible for players to recruit Ponyta, Doduo, Sunkern and Spoink.

Honey used in the end room
- Sunny Hillside is the first dungeon in order of difficulty to offer hidden items.
- Using Honey in the end room used to attract four Sunkern and one Sunflora.
- The location of this dungeon used to have the old Holiday Cave entrance.
- The first HC in PMU 7, the Thanksgiving HC, was held here.
