The staff team is a group of players with different roles in maintaining the game. There are many different roles of the staff team. These roles have different name colors, responsibilities, and privileges.
Staff Roles[]
Among the role-specific duties, all staff members generally monitor the community and forums with the abilities a Moderator has, run weekly events, plan future projects together and arrange graphics for updates.
Admin[]
In charge of the game itself and the database. They assist with account issues, manage the server and updates of the game and forums, and review applications, along with giving out major announcements.
Associate Admin[]
An additional role a member of the staff team can have alongside the lower roles. They support staff of the Admin role and carry some of the power and responsibility they do.
Programmer[]
Programmers maintain the code of PMU and have responsibilities similar to a Developer. They mainly add and fix features and work on the engine of the game.
Developer[]
Developers can edit the various scripts in the game and resolve problems relating to them, and manage gameplay balance. Developers often create dungeons and cooperate with Designers.
Designer[]
A Designer's main role is to create in-game content. They have the ability to create items, NPCs, stories, and edit any maps.
Storywriter[]
Storywriters focus primarily on structuring a storyline for the game and cooperate with Designers.
Moderator[]
In charge of maintaining order. Moderators focus on the community, handling minor announcements and helping players. They have the power to administer punishment as they see fit. They often assist Designers and Developers in testing and notify higher roles of bigger issues.
Trial Mod[]
New staff members are given the Trial Mod (in-game)/Trial Staff (Discord) role and it is the bridge to becoming a full staff member, eventually gaining the staff role applied for if successful. They have most Moderator responsibilities and capabilities.
