The Southwestern Isle is an island in Archford. It is located in the southwest corner of the region, west of Sandy Shallows.

There are two Kecleon Shops; A purple Kecleon in Silversail Village, and a green Kecleon in Southwestern Isle Village. They both sell the same items as the Kecleon Shop in Greenport Town.

Zambai: Oho! Oranguru-sensei sure knows a lot about teaching. We're just waiting for him so he can give us some advice.

The rest area also has a vending machine that sells drinks.

Pencil's House

Pencil's House is northwest of the Southwestern Isle. The NPCs reference Pencil the past staff member and their characters.

Pencil: Ahh, there's nothing quite like relaxing by the sea, its so soothing... Huh? You say I look familiar? You must be mistaken, I can't say I've ever seen you before.
Slipper: Zzzzz..... (You can hear her make seal noises in her sleep)
Zucchini: I dream of becoming the best explorer, despite my small size! Huh? Why is my name Zucchini? Pencil said it rolled off of the tongue! Zucchini Dratini!

Silversail Village

Lapras Ferry

In the water east of Silversail Village is a Lapras ferry, that will take the player to Greenport Town and vice versa, at no cost.

Storage and Assembly

The Kangaskhan Storage and Chimecho Assembly for Silversail Village are near each other, north of the village.

Silversail Village Inn

The Silversail Village Inn is the rest stop for the Silversail Village. It is next to Shuckie's Berry Shop. Players can set their spawn point by stepping on a bed, for 6,000 Poké.

Val: Take a rest in one of the beds, you can choose to stay, but it'll cost you!

Syrill's Slip 'n' Slide

Syrill's Slip 'n' Slide is a joke area that consists of a map with ice tiles, that endlessly loops. It's shown as the Seviper building in Silversail Village. It has a sign next to it:

The sign reads: Syrill's Slip 'n' Slide (There appears to be something engraved underneath...) It's a trap!

The owner Syrill themselves is never seen.

Silversail Retirement Home

Caretaker: These old folks used to be television sensations! Oooh! I want their autographs, but I must remain professional.
Chris: I should start back up... get all these folks back into show business! Where's Chef Hatchet?
Geoff: (He appears to be asleep... best to let him be)

Ma'aba's House

NPCs
Ma'aba: This island is much better than the one from the north east of Archford! Much more space, more opportunities! I really want to take on the island trial... Maybe when I evolve...
Tibah: It's common tradition on this island for everyone to eat together! I hope the settlers take this on and join us.

Timothy's House

Timothy: I lost in the island trial... I lost to the boss! S-she... Ugh! I don't want to talk about it.

A Kangaskhan Storage statue and Chimecho Assembly are located on either side of the village's Kecleon Shop.

The Canopy Inn

The Canopy Inn is the rest stop for the Southwestern Isle Village. It is west of the Southwestern Isle Village, south of Pencil's House. Players can set their spawn point by stepping on a bed, for 6,000 Poké.

Handrew: You can take a rest, or have a snack, they're just over there! You can stay, but... I have to make money somehow!

Tea House

Atsa: Welcome to my tea house! Please take a seat, and you will be served.
Danza: Never let age hold you back! Look at me. I'm the village elder, and I'm still having a great time!
Tahoma: There are two villages in the Southwestern Isle. This one houses the majority of the island natives. Silversail Village consists of residents from other regions. I think it's cool how we are accepting of them!

Happi's House

Daiku: My dad is the best! He built most of the houses in the village back when he was young!
Happi: I'm the only carpenter on the island using the traditional techniques. I plan to pass them on to my son some day.

Y'ska's House

Y'ska: The most northern island of Archford is commonly believed to be extremely dangerous. No explorer has ever returned... I wonder what's up there.

Trivia

• Southwestern Isle was released on August 11 in 2019, created by Pencil and Prismatic.
• Xatu's Appraisal and the Lapras ferry were added on March 16, 2020. The Lapras Ferry had free rides for a limited time.
• There are inconsistencies in storytelling; Many Southwestern Isle NPCs put emphasis on how the island is more accepting of outsiders, unlike Southeastern Village's NPCs. This is despite part of the story surrounding Archford being how the settlers forcefully exiled the natives from the rich mainland to the low-resource smaller islands, and then proceeding to pollute the mainland and cause the creation of Boggy Wastes, both scenarios causing natives to hate and fear the settlers.
