Charred Crossing

There's a midpoint after beating Fiona. It has two healing beds and a Kangaskhan Storage. In order to continue, a Fire-type must be on your team. The player can exit the dungeon to Greenport Town in this room.

Fiona

Spicy Lair

After Floor 25, the player encounters a Fennekin named Fiona going on a tangent about the Scorched gang not wanting to promote her chili pepper business, and plans to take over the Scorched Grasslands because of it. She notices the player and assumes that the Scorched gang has partnered with them instead of her, making her more infuriated, and battling the player. The player ends up confused about the whole situation.

Before fighting
  • Fiona: Ugh, I can't believe those lowly Scorched!
  • Fiona: Kicking me out like I ain't nothin'!
  • Fiona: All I asked was the simple request of havin' em promote my business or else I'd take over their gang!
  • Fiona: Where's the harm in that? It's a pretty fair deal if you ask me!
  • Fiona: Especially considering that my chili peppers are the absolute best! They should be flattered that I offered such a lowly bunch like them an opportunity to partner with ME!
  • [Player Name]: ....
  • Fiona: Oi, who the hell are you? You lookin' to pick a fight?
  • Fiona: Don't tell me, they replaced me with the likes of YOU? How pathetic!
  • Fiona: Look at ya! You look like an absolute wimp!
  • Fiona: If you're what they're willin' to let join their gang, how will they ever stand up to me?
  • Fiona: That's it! I'm gonna throw those losers to the curb and take over, starting with your sorry mug!
  • Fiona: The Scorched Grasslands will be mine! Mine and mine alone!
  • Fiona: My chili pepper business will flourish just as soon as I pummel ya!

Scorched Gang

Scorched Territory

After Floor 50, the player is greeted by the at first unknown voice of Salazzle trying to offer help, until Fiona blatantly interrupts, and reveals the Salazzle's name to be Ashe. Ashe gets Fiona out of the way and properly introduces herself as the head of the Scorched gang. Upset the player has trespassed, she ensures they will be disciplined. Upon defeat she bashes her team for not being competent and retreats. Salazzle's team consists of Golurk, Manectric, Ninetales, and Scrafty.

  • ???: Let me help you, please come here...

  • Fiona: Haha, I've found ya, Ashe! This is my turf now, prepare to meet ya doom!
  • Ashe: ...
  • Ashe: Fiona, dear, what have I told you about talking to me in such a manner?
  • Ashe: You know I don't like guests with bad manners!
  • Fiona: GAH!
  • Ashe: Well, looks like my little act is up.
  • Ashe: You've probably figured out that I'm Ashe; I'm the head of the Scorched gang.
  • Ashe: And you? You've made a grave mistake.
  • Ashe: You see, you've stepped right into the heart of my sweet territory.
  • Ashe: Dear, you don't just do that and get away with it.
  • Ashe: I reckon I'm gonna need to punish you...
  • Ashe: Alright boys, you know what to do!
