Scorched Grasslands (Scorched, SG) is a primarily Grass and Fire themed dungeon, located near the middle of the Southwestern Isle, north of Silversail Village, in Archford.

Charred Crossing
There's a midpoint after beating Fiona. It has two healing beds and a Kangaskhan Storage. In order to continue, a Fire-type must be on your team. The player can exit the dungeon to Greenport Town in this room.

After Floor 25, the player encounters a Fennekin named Fiona going on a tangent about the Scorched gang not wanting to promote her chili pepper business, and plans to take over the Scorched Grasslands because of it. She notices the player and assumes that the Scorched gang has partnered with them instead of her, making her more infuriated, and battling the player. When defeated she always drops a Chili Pepper. The player ends up confused about the whole situation. She has the moves Grass Knot, Heat Wave, Light Screen, and Psychic.

- Fiona: Especially considering that my chili peppers are the absolute best! They should be flattered that I offered such a lowly bunch like them an opportunity to partner with ME!

- Fiona: Don't tell me, they replaced me with the likes of YOU? How pathetic!

- Fiona: That's it! I'm gonna throw those losers to the curb and take over, starting with your sorry mug!
- Fiona: The Scorched Grasslands will be mine! Mine and mine alone!
- Fiona: My chili pepper business will flourish just as soon as I pummel ya!

Scorched Gang
After Floor 50, the player is greeted by the at first unknown voice of Salazzle trying to offer help, until Fiona blatantly interrupts, and reveals the Salazzle's name to be Ashe. Ashe gets Fiona out of the way and properly introduces herself as the head of the Scorched gang. Upset the player has trespassed, she ensures they will be disciplined. Upon defeat she bashes her team for not being competent and retreats. Salazzle's team consists of Golurk, Manectric, Ninetales, and Scrafty.
They know the following moves:
- Ashe (Salazzle): Dragon Pulse, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Venoshock
- Bob (Golurk): Bulldoze, Fire Punch, Gyro Ball, Shadow Punch
- P.T (Manectric): Electric Terrain, Flamethrower, Shock Wave, Spark
- Terran (Scrafty): Crunch, Ice Punch, Low Kick, Taunt
- Zeke (Ninetales): Extrasensory, Flame Burst, Hex, Quick Attack

- Ashe: You see, you've stepped right into the heart of my sweet territory.
- Ashe: Dear, you don't just do that and get away with it.
- Ashe: I reckon I'm gonna need to punish you...
- Ashe: Alright boys, you know what to do!
- Ashe: Let's make this trespasser pay!
- Ashe: Aargh! This lil bugger's being difficult!
- Ashe: What did I tell the lot of you? I told you to make this trespasser PAY!
- Ashe: BOB! You were supposed to do SOMETHING!
- Bob: ....
- Ashe: I swear you're all incompetent! I'll have to discharge all of ya!
- Ashe: Except you Bob, you can stay.
- Bob: <:)

- Ashe: I'll have to tear ya apart with my own claws next time you step foot here.

The main objective is training, obtaining the exclusive items Nullifying Amulet or Scorched Bandana, or exclusive recruits Sizzlipede, Pansear, and Litten. Salandit has a higher recruitment rate here than Caustic Sewers.
