Pokémon Mystery Universe is known to have a form of chatting outside of the in-game chat and forums.

Chatango

The website had a live chatroom at pmuniverse.net/chat, hosted via Chatango. It was active until some time in 2014.

Skype

A Skype group for PMU existed as early as 2013, coexisting with the Chatango until its discontinuation, and being the main chat for the game up until some time in 2016.

Discord

Discord is the current software used for a dedicated chat room outside of the game. Its server was created on the 21st of September in 2016. Most announcements and updates are sent by staff in the Discord, as well as being the quickest way to report things or get support.
