Jailbreak Tunnel, also called Jailbreak or JT, is a dungeon introduced in PMU 7 that is near the Jail in Exbel. It's the first dungeon to offer Steel- and Dark-type Pokémon. There are 12 floors in this dungeon, with mini-bosses on floors 3, 6, 9, and 12.
The Pokémon in this dungeon are mainly in the level range of 8-16.
There are two types of scenery within Jailbreak Tunnel. The first half is elongated and the ground is a gray color, with skulls scattered around and a blackish color. The other half turns more cobblestone grey with grey walls, but keeps the same skulls around. Floors 3, 6, 9, and 12 have a second set of stairs that are brown that will lead to four different mini-boss rooms, each representing a cell with stone tiles on the ground. The final room returns back to the blackish coloring of the first half with two side arches.
The Pokémon in this dungeon are a dark themed variety with the typing being different for most of them. All the Pokémon that are found here are first evolutions (with the exception of Aggron). The Pokémon in this dungeon are low levels, with most being around level 15. An Aggron will appear on Floors 3, 6, 9, and 12, each time with some dialogue. Aggron is Level 18.
New Pokémon will appear on these lower floors, but they will all be unrecruitable.
The items in this dungeon are different, with some there to help aid "escape".

There are four midbosses that can be battled on floors 3, 6, 9, and 12 respectively. The first one is a Meowth who wants food and so Meowth attacks the player. The second one is a Drowzee who mistakes the player for a guard and demands his key back before attacking. The third one is a Purrloin, who plans to steal from the player. The final one is a Sableye who wants shiny things and attacks.
However, if the player takes the stairs on the final floor, the player is confronted by a Magnezone and the same Aggron from earlier. Magnezone scolds Aggron, while Zorua tells the player that it failed. Zorua is chased off by Magnemite, with Magnezone and Aggron (now knowing the player's name) fighting the player. After defeat, they vow revenge and leave.
The goal of this dungeon is to collect all the Rusty Keys to access a secret area. Keys can be found by each mini-boss found on Floor 3, 6, 9, and 12. There is a storyline that this dungeon is used to escape from the Jail. A Zorua is currently investigating the Jailbreak Tunnel.
- Jailbreak Tunnel is an escape route for prisoners for the Jail.
- Previously, the dungeon was a eight floor layout with a small room containing a Meowth. The Meowth would say that he had found the tunnel first. There were also a hidden Tiny Mushroom and 69 Poké.
- The dungeon's entrance was moved and given a change in appearance when it was revamped to its current look.
