Currencies are stackable items used to pay for certain items or services.

Poké[]

IS Item Summary
PokéPokéThe money in this universe. Can be used to purchase goods.
Rarity: 1
Cannot be sold.

Poké is the main type of currency used in PMU, just like in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It is the form of payment accepted by almost everyone in the world, and can be used in exchange for kinds of goods. It can be found in almost all dungeons, and the amount usually varies depending on the difficulty of the dungeon. In addition to being found in dungeons, items that are sellable can be sold to shops in return for their sell price in Poké. When Poké obtained, rather than being separate from the bag, it takes up a slot in the inventory like any other item.

Poké can be used for:

  • Buying items for a specific amount of Poké from various shops or players.
  • Certain services.
  • House customization.
  • Founding guilds and adding members for an increasing price.
  • Fusing Heart Slates into a Mystery Part Mystery Part.
  • Buying spawn points at various rest stops.

Poké is useful, but can be easily lost as well. To prevent loss, it is highly advised that one stores their Poké away when they are not using it. A bank for Poké specifically does not exist, as such Poké must be stored in the Kangaskhan Storage. Money saved in the storage will not be stolen or dropped at all, regardless of how you fare in dungeons.

Poké dropped to spell out text in PMU 6

  • Before Easter 2019, the Easter Treat had a brown Rare Candy sprite Old Easter Treat. Its sprite was updated to be a brown Candy from Let's Go Pikachu and Let's go Eevee Brown Candy before being updated again on Easter 2020 into the Truffle with a new sprite.
  • Ekop is Poké spelled backwards without the accent on the E, representing the nature of Tanren Undercity.
  • Since 1 Poké is easily obtained, dropping Poké on the ground to spell words or draw small images is a tradition commonly partaken by players.
