Crystal Castle (CC) is a dungeon located within Winden. It is found after the player travels through Crystal Ruins. Its main types are Ghost and Ice.

Heavy darkness surrounds the player for the entire dungeon. Like in Crystal Ruins, Regice has a chance to spawn on all floors here and can also spawn naturally as time passes. It spawns at level 60 and knows the moves Ice Beam, Zap Cannon, Hyper Beam, and Icy Wind. Regice can drop an Ice Diamond, TM Ice Beam, or its Heart Slate.

On Floor 5 is a sealed chamber.

Boss

The main boss room has two mini-bosses and Froslass as the main boss. They all attack at the same time.

They know the following moves:

• Froslass: Confuse Ray, Light Screen, Powder Snow, Shadow Ball
• Haunter: Curse, Destiny Bond, Grudge, Mean Look

• Froslass: Greetings...hee-hee...I am Froslass, queen of these endless tundras!
• Froslass: Darling, you look a little too helpless to be playing in my castle...hee-hee-hee...
• Froslass: However dear...you look like you would be a nice addition to my ice-sculpture collection! Keeh-hee-hee!

After defeating

• Froslass: Well... what do we have here?
• Froslass: Defeated? I don't think so. I simply wasn't battling at my full potential! Got to go easy on you... kids...
• Froslass: Where...? Where are you?
• Froslass: Where did you go?
• Froslass: I'm supposed to be your queen... you listen to me!
• Froslass: Useless, I don't need them.
• Froslass: Now... as far as you...
• Froslass: I'm not going to waste my time, you aren't worth it. My time is way more precious dealing with stronger foes.
• Froslass: Leave... don't come back. That is your final warning. You hear me!?
• Froslass: Next time... you won't be making it out of here.

Dungeon Objective

As with most dungeons, the goal is to complete it. Regice can drop its Heart Slate very rarely, which allows it to be summoned in a dungeon if Regice's Heart Slate is combined with a Mystery Part. Trapped Scarves are an item only here that players desire for training Ghost-types. Like its previous part, Crystal Castle has a sealed chamber. Opening both the sealed chambers from Crystal Ruins and Crystal Castle gives a higher chance for a Clear Silk.

• Crystal Castle was revamped alongside Crystal Ruins on June 18, 2019, by Prismatic.
• There is a story surrounding the creation of this dungeon as well as the Crystal Ruins. It is known as The Story of Winden.
• Regice has one of the lowest chances of dropping a Heart Slate to offset how often it appears.
